Hi Colorado Springs! I'm Mary K from Marblehead. I go to Marblehead Veterans Middle School, or MVMS. Our town is right on the water, which make summer beautiful, but also makes the amount of snow we get considerably less. Being on the water, our weather is unpredictable. One thing I've heard people say about that is "Don't like the weather? Wait 5 minutes, it should change", which is all too true. Anyway, our school is pretty small, just 7th and 8th grade, but is much bigger than the school I used to go to. I love soccer, tennis, and cross country, but I'll play just about any sport. I love music, mostly rock and alternative. How's Colorado? I've only been out there once, and it was summer. Do you guys have a lot of snow? I love to ski, are there any good mountains near you? Our school, Marblehead Veterans Middle School, or MVMS as most people like to call it, is a relatively new school so it's really nice inside. I'm new this year, and so far I love it alot! It is right on the water and not to big of a town. Everyone noes pretty much everyone here it is great. What is your school like in Colorado? Is it big? Does it get cold really there? Ha in Marblehead it can be cold then the next day be really warm. Since we are so close to the water everyone has a boat and loves the water. Hey Colorado Springs, I am Emily S. I go to Marblehead Veterans Middle School which is located on a big hill in the middle of the town. On real lucky days we are able to see the ocean from our math class. Marblehead is a very sceneic but small town. There isn't much to do except go downtown to Starbucks and then wonder around downtown until it turns dark. Anyway there is a lot of sports and afterschool activities to do. But all in all no matter what we dislike or like about our town we all still call it home.

Marblehead is a great place to be in the summer because of the ocean breezes and the boating. Our town is a big boating town and your garenteed to know someone with a boat. In the summer, anywhere you are is only a short walk to the water. Marblehead is beautiful in the summer between the veiws of the crouded harbor and the sea breezes. In Marblehead, so many people have boats that you will always find people you know out on the water. Our town is so small that everybody knows everybody and gossip flys fast. Because the town is so small, it sometimes gets boring, but in the winter, it is not to far away from the skiing mountains. I look forward to hearing about your town. :]
